Claude Usage Dashboard: Token Tracker & Alerts (“the Extension”)
is developed and maintained by Shamiur Rahman (PromptPilot).
- Data We Collect
The Extension reads the following data from claude.ai:
- Session and weekly usage limits (percentages and reset times)
- Conversation token counts and cost estimates
- Subscription tier information
This data is used solely to display your usage dashboard,
history chart, conversation cost list, and usage alerts.
- Data Storage
All collected data is stored locally in your browser using
the browser.storage.local API. No data is transmitted to
any external server owned or operated by us.
- Third-Party Services
If you choose to provide your own Anthropic API key for
more accurate token counting, that key is stored locally
in your browser and used only to call Anthropic’s official
API (api.anthropic.com). We never receive or store your
API key on our servers.
The Extension does not use analytics, advertising, or any
third-party tracking services.
- Permissions
The Extension requests the following browser permissions:
- claude.ai host access: to read usage data from Claude
- storage: to save your preferences and usage history locally
- notifications: to send usage alerts you configure
- webRequest: to detect Claude API activity for token tracking
- tabs: to navigate to Claude conversations from the popup
No permission is used beyond its stated purpose.
- Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third
parties. No personal data leaves your browser.
- Children’s Privacy
This Extension is not directed at children under 13 and
does not knowingly collect data from children.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Extension’s features
change. The “Last updated” date will reflect any changes.
