HTML to Figma is a free Chrome extension that captures webpage content as editable Figma layers. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles data.

─── DATA COLLECTION ───

HTML to Figma does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The extension does not require an account or login of any kind.

─── WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES ───

When you click “Copy to Figma”, the extension reads the HTML and CSS of the current webpage you are viewing and converts it into a Figma-compatible format. This data is copied directly to your clipboard and never sent to any server.

─── PERMISSIONS USED ───

  • activeTab — to read the content of the current webpage you choose to capture
  • scripting — to run the capture process on the active tab
  • clipboardWrite — to copy the captured data to your clipboard
  • storage — to save your viewport preference (Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile) locally on your device

All data stays on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.

─── THIRD-PARTY SERVICES ───

The extension includes an optional “Buy me a coffee” button that links to ko-fi.com. Clicking this link opens Ko-fi in a new tab. Ko-fi has its own privacy policy. The extension does not share any data with Ko-fi.

─── CHANGES TO THIS POLICY ───

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
